My name is Kim Bise, and I serve as the rental coordinator for The Venue at Flat Rock. I personally meet with our couples and families, give tours, and guide you through the planning process from start to finish.

My goal is simple — to make your experience clear, supportive, and stress-free so you can truly enjoy your special day.

Our spacious reception hall in Powhatan comfortably seats up to 150 guests and includes:

• A permanent dance floor

• Elegant chandeliers

• Round tables and banquet chairs (included)

• Six-foot and eight-foot rectangular tables

• Cocktail tables

• A warming kitchen

• Private dressing areas

• Ample on-site parking

One of the features our couples love most is our private outdoor ceremony area. Surrounded by gardens and greenery, the property offers several beautiful locations to host your ceremony in a peaceful, tucked-away setting.

The outdoor space is located just steps from the reception hall, allowing for a smooth transition between ceremony and celebration — especially helpful during unpredictable Virginia weather.
